WATER

Canal traffic travels on the right hand side, so boats should stay on the boathouse side when rowing up to Dochgarroch, and on the City side on the way back.

SAFETY

All rowers must be able to swim 100m in rowing clothing.
Coxes must wear a life jacket and wear several warm layers of clothes, including waterproofs.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

ROWING TIMES

Competent rowers and scullers can use club boats at anytime. A key to the boathouse can be obtained from Hazel Geddes (treasurer) for a deposit of 10.
Club Time is 10:30am on Sundays, and 6:30pm on Thursdays during the Summer. New members are always welcome, but please be aware that whilst we always endeavour to get everyone out on the water, this is not always possible.
Newcomers can come to four Club Times to see if they will like rowing before they join the club.
Crews also get together at other times, usually early Saturday and Sunday mornings and weekday evenings.
Various members of the club are happy to coach beginners at other times outside of club time. Just ask around if you want to row more!
